The GESSS-Q 2019 Bake your PhD is open to all students.

Guidelines:

  • Baking must be accompanied by a list of ingredients highlighting any potential allergens.

  • Baking can be sweet or savoury.

  • Honors and Masters students are welcome.

  • The cakes will be judged on three criteria; how the cake represents the research, the overall presentation and, most importantly, how it tastes.

Tips for success

  • Think about the overarching concepts and ideas in your research, can you make an analogy of them with food?

  • All food is accepted; cakes, biscuits, pies, breads, savoury or sweet, etc.
