Tips for success
Think about the overarching concepts and ideas in your research, can you make an analogy of them with food?
All food is accepted; cakes, biscuits, pies, breads, savoury or sweet, etc.
Guidelines:
Baking can be sweet or savoury.
The baking will be judged on three criteria; how it represents the research, the overall presentation and, most importantly, how it tastes.
Baking is to be accompanied by 1 A4 page with a title and a brief outline (e.g., brief statement, abstract, diagram) of how the baking represents the research.
Baking must be accompanied by a list of ingredients highlighting any potential allergens.
Geo Bake-Off is open to all Queensland Earth Science students, baking should represent an aspect of the participant’s research.
Participants must be registered to attend GESSS-Q 2019, click here to find out more about registration.
Bring your baking to the symposium between 8:00 and 8:40 am
